We were established in 2008 and now provide a wide range of local, nationwide and European moving and storage services for homes and businesses around Harrogate and District, York and North Leeds; home removals, business relocations, exhibitions, container storage, self storage, archiving, packing service and supply of packing materials.
We hold an International Operator Licence, have a comprehensive fleet of removals vehicles, from 3.5 tonnes to 18 tonnes, and a dedicated, trained and experienced workforce. Full insurance, from employers and public liability insurance to comprehensive goods in transit and storage insurances as standard. High-Value consignment insurance, by quotation, is available.
We understand that moving can be a very stressful time, so we make a point of always giving a friendly and courteous service, whether you are moving locally, within the UK, to Europe or into our storage facility (if you haven't yet received the keys to your new home).
Founded by Howard Boughton in 2008, Rocket Removals and Storage has seen its professional team grow over the last decade. Nowadays, Paul Beesley and Andrew Birch are your main contacts; managing the versatile fleet of vehicles and dedicated teams of drivers, packers and porters on a day to day basis, you will feel that you are receiving an individual, personal service from every member of the team, so that your move runs smoothly and to plan.
For your assurance, Rocket Removals and Storage is a member of the British Association of Removers (BAR), abides by the Trading Standards Institute (TSI) approved consumer Code of Practice and adheres to the BAR Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme (ADR) which is independently operated by the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO),

PLEASE SEE THE NOTE BELOW REGARDING BAR Advanced Payment Guarantee (APG) Scheme AND THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
The British Association of Removers | 20th March 2020 | APG Announcement | "Dear Member, The spread of the Coronavirus pandemic is unprecedented in modern times and its impact on all industries has been sudden and extremely damaging, including that of UK removals. It is against this background that the BAR finds itself having to suspend its Advanced Payment Guarantee Scheme with effect from 20/03/2020. Existing claims against the scheme will of course be fulfilled, but no new claims will be considered from that date. The BAR regrets the necessity to take this course of action and will continue to review the situation over the coming months. BAR Members are respectfully requested to append this notice to all quotations issued, and contracts made, for their respective customers, and that your sales staff are instructed accordingly. We would also advise that this notice is appended to your website and/or any other client facing portals or material that you may use. We will further update any change to this policy statement as and when appropriate. Thank you for your cooperation and support during these difficult times. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the BAR"
